Dr. Susan Kim

Profile Image

Dr. Kim received her Doctorate of Optometry from the State University of New York, and her Bachelor of Science in Physiology from the University of California at Davis. She is an active member of the College of Optometrist in Vision Development and specializes in Children's Vision. Dr. Kim also provides care to the Autistic Community and is part of the network of providers of the Infantsee program. Dr. Kim examines children as young as 6 months of age.

Through Vision Therapy, Dr. Kim has improved the quality of life of many patients with visual dysfunctions such as tracking and focusing issues which can often lead to academic problems in reading and comprehension.

Dr. Kim has co-managed over 10,000 LASIK procedures over the 10 five years and has had LASIK herself in 2001.
Her volunteer experiences include various Optometric missions to third world countries including Mexico, Guatemala and Albania as well as various vision Screenings for the Lions Club and local schools. Her next volunteer mission is set to take place this January 2010 to Mexico with the Lion's Club.

In her personal time, she spends quality time with her husband, Dr. Laubach and their two boys.


Dr. Edward A. Laubach

Dr. Laubach received his Doctorate of Optometry from Southern California College of Optometry and his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from the California State University at Fullerton. He is an expert in Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT), having worked with patients of all ages, particularly children. Dr. Laubach is also TPA certified and thoroughly trained for Therapeutic Management of Ocular Diseases.

Dr. Laubach moved to Northern California to open up his practice in Milpitas in 1994.

He has served on the doctor advisory panel for National Vision since 1996. He was one of the four members of the Quality Assurance Committee and served as the media spokesperson for National Vision.

Dr. Laubach is also very involved in his community. He was an active member of the Cub Scout Pack along with his sons in San Ramon, CA and served as the Cub Master for 5 years. He is currently the Assistant Scout Master for the Boy Scouts.


Dr. Corinna Shelley

Dr. Shelley received her Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from San Francisco State University.

Dr. Shelley is an active member in COVD (College of Optometrists in Vision Development) since 2003 and received the College of Optometrists in Vision Development Award for excellence in vision therapy in May 2007. Her volunteer experience includes Opening Eyes Special Olympics, AMIGOS eyecare, and Save Your Vision Month.
